Annual Report 2021

The development of the strategy for the years 2022 to 2025 dominated the last year at RhySearch. This should also be seen in the light of the developments resulting from the concept of the High-Tech Campus Buchs and the Park Ost of Switzerland Innovation (SIP-OST). Currently, our team is in the process of implementing the first strategy projects.

27 projects were the focus of our team's operational work in 2021. For example, two new machines were commissioned in the Optical Coating division, which will soon be used to develop completely new types of materials and services; and both the Precision Manufacturing and Network & Innovation divisions already anticipated an important part of the new strategy with projects in the area of digitalisation.

In addition to the positive financial results and a substantial growth in service orders of more than 200%, we can also point to other impressive figures: Our scientific staff published 15 scientific papers, gave 13 presentations, showed five posters and also won two awards.

But enough about the numbers - you are certainly already curious about the projects we worked on last year. We therefore wish you an exciting read of the RhySearch Annual Report 2021 and a relaxing summer!
