We are pleased to present our annual report for the past year 2023. It offers a brief insight into our activities, successes and challenges over the past year. Of course, 2023 was strongly characterised by our 10th anniversary. We look back fondly on our celebrations and the milestones of the past few years.

There is also a lot to report from our research areas. The acquisition of new, exciting projects and collaborations is particularly pleasing: 13 new projects were approved in 2023 and 16 projects were launched. This development allows us to look to the coming years with optimism.

We have made significant progress in the implementation of our "Strategy 2025". For example, our "Digital Innovation Lab" has started its work. With the Scientific Advisory Board, which consists of top researchers with internationally recognised reputations, we were able to open another new chapter for innovation in the Rhine Valley.
