The governments of the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Canton of St. Gallen have elected Dr. Markus Hofer as the new Chairman of the Board of RhySearch. Markus Hofer (On the right) will succeed Werner Krüsi (on the left side of picture) effective January 1, 2027, for the remainder of the term from 2025 to 2028.
Dr. Markus Hofer has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2020 and, in this role, has played a key role in the successful further development of the research and innovation center in recent years. He possesses extensive and in-depth industry experience and knowledge, as well as a strong national and international network. He meets all the requirements to effectively support the further strategic development of RhySearch.
The current Chairman of the Board, Werner Krüsi, will step down from his position at the end of December 2026. The early by-election ensures a smooth transition.
