Dr. Andreas Bächli

After studying physics (ETH, 1988) and obtaining his doctorate (University of Bern, 1992), Andreas Bächli worked for two years as a research assistant at Caltech in Pasadena, USA, before joining BALZERS AG in the Rhine Valley in 1995. In the following 20 years, he worked in the industrial-technical environment and in the management of the company and gained extensive experience in the field of thin films with a focus on optical coatings (Balzers AG and Unaxis) and laser scribing of thin PV films (Oerlikon Solar, TEL Solar). He joined RhySearch in November 2016.
