Dr. Thomas Liebrich
Dr Thomas Liebrich studied mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich and then completed his doctorate on the topic of "3D-probing system for micro-components" with Prof. Wegener at the Institute for Machine Tools and Manufacturing. In 2013, he joined Burckhardt Compression in Winterthur, one of the market leaders in the field of piston compressors, as a project manager. There he gained valuable industrial experience in a globally active company. Thomas Liebrich has a great deal of knowledge in production and manufacturing technology. Thomas Liebrich serves as a member and reviewer of the International Scientific Committee at euspen – the European Society for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology.
Since April 2018, Thomas Liebrich has been the head of the Ultra-Precision Manufacturing Lab at RhySearch.
