Prof. Dr. Martin Frank started in 2001 as a research assistant at the Department of Mathematics of TU Darmstadt. He moved to the Technomathematics group at TU Kaiserslautern in 2004, where he obtained his PhD in mathematics in 2005. From 2009 to 2017, he was a professor of mathematics in the Center for Computational Engineering Science at RWTH Aachen University. Prof. Dr. Frank can look back on numerous publications in renowned journals.
He has been Director of the Scientific Computing Center (SCC) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) since 2017 and Professor of Computational Science and Mathematical Methods in the Department of Mathematics at KIT. Since 2021, he has been the scientific spokesperson of the KIT Graduate School on Computational and Data Science.
