The vision for the future is clear: Production facilities should operate in a networked manner across all areas, respond flexibly and largely control themselves from procurement to shipping via all production facilities, quality and training processes. This will enable companies to produce in the most customer- and market-oriented way possible and increase their efficiency. 

Manufacturing is also becoming increasingly digitalized. RhySearch is working on various digitization projects in this area and, together with its research and industry partners, is providing a look at work in progress. The event offers the opportunity to learn about current research results and practical examples.

Reports will be given, for example, on "pattern mining" in precision manufacturing or VR training for machine tool operation. 
Practical application examples will be shown in live demos. Not only success stories but also the limits of what is feasible will be shown.
