On 29 September we were able to welcome one of our mental fathers at RhySearch: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirt. Ing Günther Schuh laid the initial steps for the foundation of RhySearch. The Rhine Valley Innovation and Research Centre, with a study conducted in 2013. 

We are delighted that Prof. Schuh not only took the time for an introduction and exchange of ideas about the potential for collaboration with RhySearch. He was also very interested to see for himself how positively our centre has developed since its foundation: He visited both the precision manufacturing department with our air-conditioned production laboratory and the optical coatings department, where we implement research and service projects under clean room conditions.

Prof. Schuh holds the chair for Production Engineering at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University and is founder and chairman of the board of directors of the electric vehicle manufacturer e.GO Mobile.
